Section 2.3.1 in the Technical Facts seems to say that the seven following paragraphs ONLY refers to the earliest type of which few probably exist. I suspect that some of the rest of the section actually applies to later slopers, but it doesn't seem to say where the latter starts. Can anyone advise please?

At the end of section 2.3.1 (2) [I've added the first bracket to make the reference clearer] it says "The general information given below is equally applicable to early and late models of this type of carburettor"
This means what it says, though in fact I think you may sometimes need to move the needle slightly in the later types and therefore refer to 2.3.1 (1) & (2) as well as the following sections.

Very many thanks, Robert. I'm afraid I had written off the whole of 2.3.1 on the basis of the opening paragraph. I should have read further! Thanks for such a quick answer.
