I have seen this product promoted several times in the Review. Does anyone use it, either in modern of older cars? If so, have you any experience you would like to share?

Their claims are impressive and clear.

Indeed, but claims are claims!

I should like to hear from someone who has actually used the stuff before I start filling my tyres with it.

A few of my friends with motorhomes have gone down this route, because the newer vehicles come without a spare wheel,They look at it as a get you home system.

It does seem a good idea, however do remember that this will be of no use if it is damage to the sidewall.

I tried to reply to this at the time of the revised forum rollout but the system refused to publish it. These products have been around for years and although I tried something similar on motorcycles many moons ago, I decided that regardless of their actual as opposed to claimed performance that they had a major, non-technical problem. Unless you check all tyres carefully after every outing to see if the tyre has picked up a nail or whatever, you cannot know if that tyre has suffered damage and I for one would not want to rely on some gunge to prevent further deterioration or even critical damage. Ignorance is not bliss ! You should know if you have suffered a puncture and should be able quickly to change the wheel, whether with a standard spare or a spacesaver.
