Good evening Anthony.
To get the ball rolling;
Not my project, but one recently completed which it was my privilege to have a ride in today. To save you guessing, it's 3L body on a MKVI chassis. A LOT of work as the two don't exactly slot together. What you can't see so well from the picture is that the body retains its original patinated paintwork, which is delightful.

Interesting to see a 3 litre body over a Mk 6 chassis. I would be interested to see more pics. For over 40 years my 3-litre (with 4.5 chassis) has had a Mk6 (R-type) engine hiding under the bonnet.
It went like the wind but it is now in the process of being put back to original. Here is a 'before' pic of the engine bay |

I am pleased to say that I have finished the refurbishment of my father's special - well at the time of writing this anyway. I would imagine that I will find more to do when I get home
Tried to upload a photo , but it failed to materialize _________________ Mark Taxis

Hi Mark.
Did you try clicking "standard" after "send". Seems to work for me. I've no idea why.

Hi Stephen
Just tried again, I select the photo, click upload and the text in the bottom left corner says waiting for BDC, this goes on for about a minute then disappears with nothing uploaded, Not sure if the photo is too big, but previously it would tell me if it was.
I really do not like this new format, I cannot see that it is an improvement over the old one. _________________ Mark Taxis

Yes, Mark, I share your feelings about the new forum. I'm afraid it just increases the sense of loss my encounters with the BDC increasingly bring. Somebody, somewhere must like the direction of travel. VW, possibly?
Moving swiftly on, it does sound like your photo might be too big. If it's straight from the camera, that will likely be the case. I resize them in photoshop elements. I've just checked and the two I posted of the RC41 blurb each have a maximum of 2000 pixels in one direction, so they don't need to be tiny.
Where needed, I use a free batch-resizer called irfanview. |

Finally got there.
I was selecting the photo via the browse button, the only way I could get it to load was by clicking gallery and going from there
