Anyone going to Prescott this weekend? I’ll be strolling round the car park (3ltr. SV4568) and paddock on Saturday morning, usually a nice selection of WO cars about.
If you want to go, one has to buy tickets in advance via the Bugatti Owners Club. |

Yes, but that's only to watch, as visitors are not allowed to play. |

John
I'll be there with the 3 litre. Running No.91. Come and find me in the paddock and say hello.

Congratulations to Iain Warner for being 1st in class on handicap, such a super looking car.
Also Alastair Littlewood for such a quick run in his 3/4.5 to win his class on handicap.
I spent a lot of time in the car park chatting to delightful people who I had not met before and spotting interesting variations in different cars! |

Just what i do John - you meet some really interesting people and their cars and i get the feeling some of them only 'come out' for Prescott.
Particularly like the RR Phantom 1 (or Ghost) rolling chassis.
Did he really drive it there -just like they went to the Coachbuilders.
And the magnificent 6 1/2 chauffeur driven complete with microphone.
Oh and some nice W.O.'s

Well done Iain for upholding the honour of the 3 Litres. I hope it's not too lonely in Class 5 now. |

Actually the congratulations for me were a little premature. Alistair Littlewood had originally been shown in class 6 whereas he is in class 5 and therefore took the handicap award there.
Interestingly Alistair now drives the ex Paul Tunnicliffe 3 litre and is several seconds faster than Paul used to be in it. And a lot faster than me!

Iain, Alastair’s car was listed as a 3/4.5. So has probably got 50% more bhp than you, one would expect him to be a lot faster! |

I presume the 3 / 4.5 listing was a mistake. He wouldn't be allowed in Class 5 with a 4.5 litre engine. And Paul's car was a 3 Litre. |

It is a bit confusing, the results seem to have been adjusted with Iain now shown as 2nd on hadicap behind an SA Speed 20 Alvis.
Alastair (shown as 3/4.5) also 2nd on handicap but in class 11. |
