I have a 2008 Continental GT which I've had for 7 years. Great car which I've had no major issues with until now. I am experiencing a water leak from under the car but not under the engine compartment. The leak seems to be coming from under the front seat area. It's not coolant as it's cold and clear. I did think it was maybe condensate from the aircon but it now seems to be quite a lot of water for the past week or so. Any suggestions as to what it might be and a quick fix?

Does the car live outdoors?
It might be due to a blocking of the drain pipe at the base of the windscreen under the scuttle. If this blocks, water can drain into the passenger side footwell, where some electronics are hidden. Presumably if it can get into the footwell, it can also drain out. Have you checked your coolant level. Is your water bottle for the screen wash cracked? Does your A/C need regassing? Lots of possibilities.

Thanks for your suggestions. Normally lives underground nice and dry but last 6 weeks been outside but no rain so fairly dry still. No damp inside the car just a leak from underneath. Have checked everything you suggest and am coming to the conclusion that it's an air con issue which I can't fix. Looks like a trip to a specialist.

Just an update on my water leak. I had the car checked at a Bentley dealer who confirmed that the leak was simply the condensate from the aircon and all was well. Quite relived that it was that simple. All credit to the dealership particularly Pedro who was very professional, efficient and looked after me with coffee whilst the car was being checked. Took around 35 minutes and no charge! Super service.
