Can anyone please recommend an outdoor car cover that neither leaks nor allows condensation.
So far I have tried two such covers from carcoversfactory.co.uk
The first was not waterproof at all. They sent a replacement which turns out to be about 90% waterproof but is not condensation proof. So, also unsatisfactory. The cost was £193.00.
The cover is for my 2009 GTC which, I'm afraid, has to live outside on the drive.
Cost is not a big concern. I just want a cover that is water and condensation proof.
Look forward to any replies. Richard |

No personal experience but have had carcoon.com recommended to me by others who have used them, although they look a faff to use if the car is in regular use. |

I use a custom made soft cover for my MarkVI with an SUV sized cover seal cover over it when it rains, or overnight to protect from pests. The cover seal covers are weighted at the bottom to keep out rodents, and for added wind and rain protection. I also coated both the inside and outside of the weighted button with NeverWet, because otherwise it’s incredibly tough to lift after a downpour, plus, there are feral cats that spay in my city. Six months in, my Mark VI has been perfectly preserved under both. It’s usually parked under a carport or in a garage, but when my mechanic was leaving it outside at night, the cover seal gave me peace of mind. |
