I was asked to sell a copy of The llustrated History of the Bentley Car (by W O Bentley in case you haven't heard of it) by a club member who is even older than I am.
In the book there were three loose photographs of YP 8041 (Ch #1207). I wonder if anyone recognises the location?
According the vintagebentleys.org, the car was "In USA 1959-89". The pictures are in clolour and there is a disposable cup on one of them, which suggests the photographs might have been after its return, assuming they were taken in Blighty.
The car was at Techno-Classica in 2019 having had all the age sucked out of it, no doubt at great expense.
The book is still for sale if anyone wants it. |

Well at least it retains the same body which is something to be thankful for. |
