Hi,
Can any tell me if its beneficial to use these products in my 1996 turbo R? for both hydraulics and also gearbox?

The info on their site says:
Forté Automatic Transmission Treatment is the recommended treatment for hydraulic systems using LHM fluid, such as Citroën - particularly for conditioning the rubber seal between the hydraulic fluid pipe and gas globe.

thanks so much, your opinions are appreciated

I would imagine that this is in a long line of manufacturers of additives for cars over the last 50 years.
My opinion, for what it is worth, If your vehicle has been properly serviced as and when required, then there really should be no need for additives.
However should there be signs of wear or noise (oh god what is wrong now), THEN my opinion is that this would only be a stop gap until the part needs replacing. And yes I have used them over the years to keep my old cars(bangers) in the 1960's running due to empty pockets. But would not let it anywhere near my Bentley.

I've been running LHM suspended Citroëns for a long time and have used two well regarded specialists to service them. The current '08 C5 Exclusive is way too complicated for its own good, built on the cheap compared with its predecessor and almost comedically unreliable, so I'm quite a regular visitor to Mark Lightfoot at Ilkestone.

In all those years no-one has ever mentioned the need for additives to the LHM. Given the ballyhoo about approved fluids in the handbook, I'd have thought they would invalidate the warranty if used early in the car's life. Rum do.
