Anyone know the size of the Ki Gas flanged blanking plugs found on the 4.5 induction manifold, just behind the carburettor?
I think they are 1/8th BSP, allowing for some tolerance in my measurement of 9.2mm od (male thread) and 29tpi.

Would be helpful to have this confirmed or corrected by someone who knows.

Just in case anyone might be interested, having bought the fitting needed in anticipation of correctly identifying the size, I can confirm that the KiGas female thread is 1/8 BSP.

Was a KiGas pump a standard fitting on 4.5’s?
I suspect it would be an easier device than the choke operation linkage used with slopers! I’ve given up using the choke, if I use a spring return on the linkage of sufficient strength to avoid the choke moving, then the dash control is too tight to turn.
Tickling the float chambers first thing in the morning seems adequate for an instant start.

Not sure if all 4.5's have KiGass but lots of them seem to. Although my car is a 3/4.5 the engine is an original 4.5 (rather than modified) and the inlet manifold has provision - in the form of blanking plugs - but no pipes and pump.
I also fitted a spring to the front carburettor in an effort to keep the choke off, and found all it did was take up the slack in a very worn linkage. I need to rebuild the linkage before trying to modify it , and in the meantime rely on my routine of checking the choke position as I go along.

There are two plugs on the top of my manifold with knurled knobs which presumably (?) allowed owners to weaken the mixture but seems risky !

Re rotary choke mechanism i gave up on getting both jets down so disconnected the front one and the car still starts ok, but mags rebuilt!
