I wonder if this is the entire business or only the restoration arm. |

It may well be just a redundant company that the firm no longer has a use for. |

I don't think so. It seems to be active and their 2021 accounts show 36 employees. |

I'm going to presume redundancy is the answer. My car's been there since pre-covid!! Work all done now, in storage and waiting for an opportunity to transport to Italy.
They call themselves Fiennes Group now with various subdivisions. Fiennes Restoration doesn't feature on the website any more.

I'm afraid the the Q part after PD is going to have to wait while the transport company get the documents in order, all thanks to BL....DY BR...X...T. I suppose I could ask them to collect it early and store until shipping date.
Can't do much before Easter anyway because I have to go through the rigmarole of the Italian MOT straight after delivery. |

Just received the letter this morning from the liquidators!!!!!
“Fiennes Restoration Ltd has ceased to trade and is not able to carry out any further restoration works or provide ongoing storage facilities.
You therefore need to take steps to remove your items as soon as possible as they are currently held by the company at your own risk and the Administrator accepts no liability whatsoever.”
So I suppose that’s the end of a bit of history!

I have heard that the only part of the organisation that's still active is Fiennes Performance. Will Fiennes is supervising a bit but phone lines are inactive and access is only through the Insolvency company.
So it really is the end. When I visited in September to use my car for my nephew's wedding everything seemed fine. They were full of vehicles in various stages of repair and restoration.

There is no telephone service.
The procedure is to email Emily, and after a number of days, a stock check may have been made, with availability and cost.
Not everything in the catalogue is on the shelf. |
