It is quite a few years ago that Mark Hollis last posted on this forum and I don’t think that he is still a BDC member.
By chance I came across an advertisement for his lovely 3ltr
Reg. NU1677. He bought it in 1947 and was successful in competition for many years, it would appear that he has only recently parted with it after 76 years of ownership.
Is this a record for a single owner as opposed to “family” ownership?

I understand that Mark died perhaps 3 or 4 years ago and that his 3ltr carried the coffin hitting 70mph on the A12 as specifically wished for.
So perhaps it was 72 or 73 years of ownership and use.
