| Having just attended an excellent Eastern/North East region weekend in Mk VI tourer I felt after 280 miles on A and M roads there was just so much road noise. I was wearing fur lined flying helmet. After 50+ years have not been bothered by road noise but this time arrived with bad headache. Is there any research into tyre noise as it seems the modern wide but pencil thin tyres make so much more noise than older standard section radials? Regards Peter Williams |
