Hello!
I am a new member and I am 23 looking to buy my first Bentley
I am looking at a classic Bentley 1973 but I'm struggling to find anyone that will insure me because I'm under 25?
I am planning to buy the car outright and want it insured when I buy it so I can drive it home!
Any suggestions?
PS any advice on owning a classic Bentley would also be lovely |

Alternatively, try e mailing Emma Airey who is head of RH Insurance. Emma is always helpful and approachable and she may be able to assist you.

Thanks so much,
I've called and they unfortunately won't insure because I'm not under their scheme.
I will give this email a go!
Thanks so much for this response it's so lovely to hear your advice |

The club has been talking to RH about insurance, especially for young drivers, and we have just agreed some text that is now on the Member Benefits page (under Membership). It says:
Driving solo:
Drivers aged 23+ are acceptable providing they have no accidents, claims or convictions. They will also need to have held their full UK licence for a minimum of 24 months.
So they may be able to insure you if you meet those criteria and tell them they are a BDC member. |
