Any thoughts as to where I can find replacement driving dogs for my 4 1/4? Mine are very "clonky." |

Try Fiennes Parts, or Steve Maggs at Maggs at Maggs Vintage.
I have had to renew worn hubs, and half shafts with new parts due to wear, the parts were never carburised in manufacture, or they would never have gone in.
I had a "bad" 3 1/2 litre from Mallorca 18 months ago, the axle was OK apart from the dogs, Steve sold me a plus 7 thou and a plus 10 thou, to de-clonk it.
This followed a 4 1/4 that had all of the 15 No crown wheel studs broken.
A bit of a mess. |

Relative to the driving dogs, today I have the rear end off the ground and I have noted that most of the clunking noise comes from the off side. Any thoughts or recommendations? |
