I've given up making auction predictions - except to say that it will definitely be out of my price range! Very nice indeed though.

I love the way that newspapers don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. Clearly the car was known to the club, the owner seems to have been a member in 2005 and Clare Hay identified it in 1997.
The idea that it will be a simple matter to get it back on the road (reliably) also seems unlikely to me. 30 years of inactivity suggest to me that a full engine rebuild will be necessary and no doubt, some major chassis work. The interior will probably cost more to conserve than to replace.

Good to read the article in 'The Automobile" regarding this car. It is back on the road and running well after amazingly little work!
